Thargye Ling is also situated on a mountain. We had to use three modes of transportation to reach there. We started off in Loga Rinpoche’s Range Rover. At the base of the mountain, we hopped on to a tractor fitted with a leather sofa for us! Half way up the mountain, the tractor trail ended. We jumped on horseback till we reached the site of the monastery.
It was simply great to have been able to get funds for a brand new temple, monks' quarters and shelters for the local people.
