Lhasa, especially today, means Jowo Rinpoche. We went to Lhasa several times for the same reason that we wanted to receive blessings from Jowo Rinpoche. Jowo Rinpoche is undoubtedly the single most sacred icon in the whole of Tibet. Lhasa is also the gateway to Drigung, our root, and Kongpo. Kongpo was also important for us because Togden Yunga Rinpoche lived there.
