With the blessings of His Holiness Drigung Kyabgon Chetsang Rinpoche, the Drigung Kagyü Office (DKO) was founded in 1997. The DK Office is a family run private initiative headed by Tashi and Genyen Jamyangling dedicated to preserving and promoting Tibetan culture and religion.
Over the years we undertook numerous projects and programs both in Toronto and abroad. These included:
1. Invitation of prominent Drigung Lamas to teach in Toronto and locations in the United States.
2. "The Mystical Music and Dance of Tibet," a year-long tour of the world by Drigung Kagyü monks, who performed Buddhist spiritual dances, music and percussion.
3. In 2005 and 2006, we had the good fortune of going to Tibet and work for the Dharma.
4. Translation of Tibetan Buddhist texts into English.
The Jamyangling family, located in Toronto, Canada, continues to work to benefit the Tibetan people and their way of life whenever and wherever they get the chance .
